Artist's Comments

Here's the first fruits of my drawing 114 class this semester.
My art teacher has this big o cow skull in her room so I just had to draw it. The flowers are from photographs she took, they're day lilies I believe.
Nothing but my new prismacolor colored pencils were used.
(note: the 72 color set is much more convenient than the 120 color one @_@ )
This took about 4 class sessions, each class is about 4 hours (with a lunch break in between ^_^ )
This just about confirms that my fav medium is, without a doubt, colored pencils.

is never excusable to be evil, but there is certain merit in knowledge that you are. Nunca es excusable ser malvado, pero existe cierto mérito en saber que uno lo es

When life gives you lemons, share with the class…in graphic detail.

Because evil needs commerce too.

FurBerries…mine smells like DEATH.

Excellent, another person has been enticed with Prisma colored pencils... :plotting:

That picture is simply gorgeous! I love the contrast between the dull colored skull and the vibrant red lillies. Also, excellent choice in green to make the picture just pop out. Trully, it's wonderful Sio.

WOW.
That's incredible. ^_^
It's also a good contrast, with the flowers and the dead animal skull...
Who knew?

No! Focus!

Prismas are excellent. One can never have too many indigo violets...

Anyway, looks great. Bonus points for getting your cremes and whites so crisp on that dark paper.
