This is my response to all the sad fanart depicting Jet dead. He ain't. It's a kid show. Come on.
Longshot and Smellerbee just drug him out, stitched him up, and got him some counseling^^
All that will result from 'Lake Laogai' is Zuko loosing some fangirls to Jet! XD
Anywho, had a lot of fun drawing this. Took about 45 minutes. Pencil on bristol paper.

YAY!!!! Oh, that smirk is fabulous! He's not dead. He just can't be. I'm going to be optimistic today ^_^ He's just too cool to die (though kids show or not, I won't put it past them to kill people in AtLA). This is just so awesome! He almost seems to be challenging Death to come and claim him. No way he's gone (he's still got to get revenge on Mongke). Great job on him and his weapons. So awesome!

I like your take on it, and I'm not here to argue the point about Jet. I personally have him marked as "missing, presumed dead."

Great pic. I love the sly look he's got, like he's just waiting for some girl to come by and try to kiss him awake. :XD: Very nicely done. The funeral attire is quite good.

The real reason he is not dead: They revealed in the Lake that the rough rhinos where the ones who destroyed his village. They still have to de dealt with permanetly. Who better than the one with the biggest grude against them?
