So um, yea been away for a while.
Many things have happened. Many many things.
Much to share in good time.
But for now, it's nice to be back, though everything is a little different on dA.
..course it changes every 3 months anyway doesn't it?
But dA is a very unique site, where I was given so much wonderful feedback and met a lot of good friends.
So return I shall.

I'm not too sure if this is a goodbye journal,
so much as a looking-wistfully-into-the-horizon journal.

It's been nearly 5 years since I started uploading my humble doodles to this site. No other community has encouraged and inspired me to push foreward with my own style more than all you crazy people I've met here on dA. Your imput and feedback have helped shape me into the artist I've become, and you've given me plenty to LOL over too. Getting to share my work with you all has been nothing short of wonderful.

But, things are changing.

I'm now in my senior year of art school, with only 2 semesters between me and a BFA. I'm facing new challenges everyday and finding out just how far I can push myself without breaking (like writing an artists statement for narrative work...might as well try to describe why you like the taste of chocolate). I've begun searching for grad schools as well as job oppertunities, and I'm looking into creating my very own website. I'm starting to realise my own artistic vision, bringing life to things I only dreamed of years before. On top of all that, I think I'm falling in love.

In short, I have much on my mind and it's getting harder and harder to keep the pace with everyone here on dA. I feel like I've neglected an old friend, and I just want them to know I don't mean to and I do miss them. I have no intentions of canceling this account just yet, there's way too many fond memories imbedded in it. But I do want you all to know that I may dissappear for a while, but rest assured, I fully intend on reappearing, maybe in another place.

As far as PFF2 goes, I'll continue to update as much as I can until I simply cannot do anymore. With the new format, I believe we can still finish the story, but I'll need your patience. Also, to the Team, thanks so much for sticking with me and I'm sorry it's taken so long. XD I'll keep on fighting if you will. :3

Anywho, I'm off to work my butt off now. XD

Two weeks until this crazy semester is OVER.
Here's what I gotta do:
~Finish 3-headed sculpture, choose glazes and firing methods, and write artists statement for ceramics class.
~Write 7-page paper on 20th century illustrators for Art History class.
~Finish 15 page, 9x9 each series assignment in ink.
~Construct a front and back cover for college night program for graphic design class.
~Not die.

BUT! I wanted to show you what my hard werkin has already done! I'm about to post the last series drawing project that I just recently got back. And it features the Centaur and Mermaid!
It ends on a somber note, but rest assured it is not the end of thier story. I still plan on making a full one-shot short comic for them in the future....so this is just a little teaser of what may happen!

So then I gotta go get back to work! Hopefully I'll come out of this semester in one piece, and with more arts and new skills to show for it. Then maybe I can get caught back up on WWF cover updates >_< and PFF2! @_@ Oie!

Besides that, school trucks along as usual. I turned in two projects Tuesday and turned in a paper today XD And although school has been real demanding this semester, I can't find it in my heart to complain after what I found out yesterday...
Basically I got with my advisor and mapped out what classes I needed to take between now and when I graduate in Fall '10. The best part is, if all goes well, my final semester will be only three classes...DRAWING classes XD Yes the thought of that heavenly future semester should help keep me sane through this 15-hour one @_@ Oh, and in addition, I almost have enough art history classes to have a minor in it too XD Huzzah for unintentional minor-get! 8D

Anywho, what's up with all you people? :3 I miss all my dA peeps :<

Oh and does anyone know how to get rid of mold? Preferrably permanently? >_<
